As someone who lives in Bangkok, I believe that this city is one of the lest Zen places in the world.  I agree with Jessie V about finding ones own quite corner in a park... or the Bangkok BTS (sky train) which is very quiet and serene and provides a great, cheap view of the city. Wat Pho which is in the centre of the city is actually a very Zen place once you get past the building where the Reclining Buddha is housed. Regardless of where I am in Bangkok, if I want a calm moment I simply close my eyes and exhale.</description>
