How to Bathe and Dry Off With Only One Towel / Sarong

I guess it’s been so long since I used more than one linen to bathe with, I’d forgotten that some people truly don’t know how to do this. I was remeinded a couple of years ago when we had a visitor who was clearly stressed out by the process.
Here’s the deal. First, don’t use a face cloth. Anything you could possible need one for can be accomplished in the shower with your hands and a bar of soap. When it comes time to dry off, use your hands to squeeze as much water out of your hair as possible. Lean forward from the waist an duse your travel towel or sarong to dry off your back. Next, wrap your hair in the towel and pat / wring dry as best you can so the water won’t continue to run down your back in a minute.
Stand upright and let your damp (but no longer dripping wet) hair hang down. Finish drying off the rest of your body. Then rewrap your hair and use hanging towel ends to completely dry your back. Get dressed or put on your robe and relax. Personally, I use a sarong for everything when traveling. Because they are so thin, they dry easily and quickly. They also take up far less space in your back pack.
If you have a better way to do this, let us know. We are always open to new travel tips.
