Online Teaching - Work from Anywhere

Hello, everyone. This is a follow up to the online teaching post of earlier. At the suggestion of a friend, I switched the search criteria to online schools rather than online teaching.

The idea was that this would bring to light popular options that people were using to learn, and that would in turn provide a decent list of places to start searching for online educational employment. I spent a full afternoon looking around. Here’s what I came up with.

Professional Career Development Institute: They offer coursework at varying levels.

James Madison High School: They allow students to finish earning a high school education online via correspondence courses. If you are a secondary ed teacher, this might be a place to look for online work opportunities.

Excel High School: An online high school. Again, if secondary ed is your thing, you might find an opportunity here. It looks like they service students in multiple states as well as nontraditional adult hight school students as well.

Worldwide Learn:  This site lists numerous online high school, college and university programs. For those looking for schools to approach for online work, you’ll definitely find some resourcs here.

I hope this list of links is helpful to those of you searching for an opportunity for online learning. I know when we get back to the United States in a week or so, I’ll be looking forward to exploring these resources as well.
