Up before dawn to dress, pack and hit the road before 6:30, this day was mostly about navigation and aggressive traffic dodging.

 After which, our flight was delayed, putting us into Guayaquil after 1:00 in the morning. However, we had a grand time guzzling beer and eating Mexican food at the airport restaurant. We also had time to squeeze in last minute phone calls to family, friends and business associates. So, all worked out well. We grabbed a transport from the airport and the staff was awake to let us in (David called ahead once they announced our flight delay.). Normally, they have a driver (Freddy) that picks you up, but he only works until around midnight. More tomorrow when it´s light enough to take pictures of this great hostel!
