Day 8: A Bit of Catch-up Posting to Do . . .

Hello everybody. Since our last trip entry, lots of ground has been covered.
We’ve been from Nashville, Tennessee to Harrisonburg, Virginia. From there, we drove to Ledyard, Connecticut to spend the night with David’s friend Justin, his wife Ding and their baby boy Ronan.
From there, we drove the dogs on their last leg of the journey. To their Aunt Sabrina’s in Denmark, Maine. Here, we’ve all spent time transitioning the dogs to their new environment. While they’ve enjoyed the drive through cheeseburger stops and eating take out pizza in bed, they were definitely ready to enjoy some unrestricted romping in Sabrina’s big yard and backwoods trails. Lots of walks, cuddles, treats and a few new toys have helped things along even further. After some updated doggie shots, and today’s registration of the pups, we should be ready for the official pet handover.
