For the past two weeks, we’ve been staying with the dogs in Tucson, Arizona at the Air Force Inn at Davis Monthan Air Force Base. How have we fared?
While it’s our first canine hotel experience, I still think it deserves a basic thumbs-up.
They have a walking trail down the street, and a grassy area just outside for quick canine potty breaks. The rooms come with food and water bowls, and a crate if necessary. There’s also a full kitchen and laundry facilities, which enables us to spend more time with them during the final hectic days of David’s military retirement. This helps a great deal with building new behavioral routines necessary for the upcoming trip. There’s also lots of room for both us and the dogs to stretch out and relax. Recommended for people traveling with pets who have military base access.
