Sweet Eats: A German Bakery in Nova Scotia

While discussing potential blog categories, David and I thought it might be fun to include a section on fun places to eat around the world. While the business cards and information on many of our favorites were packed up by the movers before we started this blog, I did find the business card for a delightful little German bakery my parents and I went to while visiting Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.
The German Bakery and Garden Cafe at the Historical Gardens is a delightfully rustic little getaway overlooking picturesque landscaping in the historical Acadian town of Annapolis Royal. Owned by Dieter and Heidi Claussing, the establishment offers wonderful German pastries, coffee, breads, soups and sandwhiches. A great place to stop for a light repast, and in our case, to get out of the rain and set a course for our next tourist destination.
