Desert Museum with Donna and Carol

We have several shots from the Arizona Desert Museum, because we’ve taken several rounds of company. These pictures are from when Donna came to visit with her friend Carol.
Here is one of the museum guides with a hawk.
Donna and Carol at the Saguaro demonstration.
Close-up cactus shot among the rocks.
More cactus imagery . . . we have a lot of that.
David and Carol before we all head down the trail to explore the full outdoor museum. For those of you who haven’t been to the Arizona Desert Museum before, it’s a very unique concept.
Another outdoor panarama from the museum grounds.
Desert box turtles! There’s an adoption program if you want to have one live in your backyard. It’s for the rescued turtles that have been displaced from their natural environment.
Prairie dogs through the fence to their new home. The museum had to build an entirely new secure habitat for them, because they were resourceful enough to find their way out of the old display.
One of the larger cats sleeping among the rocks.
Myscha on the trail.
Saguaro silhouettes.
Another landscape pic. We’ve enjoyed taking as many landscape photos as we have. The natural environment here is so unique.
Under the ramada, taking a break.
More plant life!
We’ll post other sets of desert museum photos from various trips there. In the mean time, if you want to check out the museum yourself, go to http://www.desertmuseum.org .
