Notes From a Big Country, by Bill Bryson.
This was the book that introduced me to the work of Bill Bryson, via a referral from another traveling friend of mine. It has an easy format that will ring true with most any American who has taken the time to live long-term in Europe. I definately chuckled my way through this one.
